Frequently Asked Questions
ABRACADABRA
Q: When I turn the mode knob on the ABRACADABRA, the unit seems to turn off (enter bypass) at certain knob positions.
A: The modes “Inf + Cho + Oct Up” and “Inf + Cho + Oct Dn” operate differently from the other modes on ABRACADABRA. In these two modes, when the pedal is in bypass, pressing the footswitch causes the unit to capture and hold the input sound at that exact moment. The held sound is then processed with an octave shift (up or down) and a chorus effect.
Because of this design, when switching the mode knob from any other mode into either “Inf + Cho + Oct Up” or “Inf + Cho + Oct Dn”, the pedal will initially remain in bypass, which may appear as if the unit has turned off. This is normal and expected behavior.
